Since October of 2019, I have been reducing my ecological footprint and saving for my college education by collecting recyclable goods, separating them into their preferred bins, and receiving a cash refund for the items. Within these two years, I have made approximately $5,000, which will go towards my education at High Point University where I will be studying Broadcast Journalism.
